WARRANTY INFORMATION
Warranty Coverage
HX OUTDOORS guarantees that all knives are free from defects in materials and workmanship when used properly by the original owner. If a product is found to be defective due to manufacturing or material flaws, we will provide a repair or replacement at our discretion. This warranty is valid for the lifetime of the product, as long as it remains in the possession of the original owner.
If your knife is no longer available or has been discontinued, HX OUTDOORS may offer a replacement with an equivalent or similar model of equal value.
Exclusions from Warranty
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents, including, but not limited to:
- Throwing or prying with the knife
- Use in tasks it was not designed for (e.g., cutting hard materials, prying open objects)
- Intentional or accidental damage
- Broken tips due to improper use
- Damaged or chipped edges from misuse
- Rust caused by neglect or improper care
Metal parts such as clips, screws, or pins that are lost, bent, or broken are typically excluded from warranty coverage.
Modifications & Unauthorized Repairs
Any modifications made to the knife, or repairs performed by someone other than HX OUTDOORS, will void the warranty. This includes altering the blade, handle, or other parts of the knife.
Warranty Service Process
To initiate a warranty claim, please contact HX OUTDOORS customer service at the contact details below. You will need to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning the knife. The original knife must be sent to our designated address for evaluation.
If we determine that the issue is not related to a manufacturing defect, the knife will not be accepted under warranty. You may choose to have the knife returned to you at your own expense or consider repairing the knife outside of our warranty coverage.
Knife Care and Maintenance
HX OUTDOORS knives are crafted from premium materials designed for high performance. Most of our blades are made with high-carbon steel, which offers excellent edge retention. However, due to the nature of high-carbon steel, the blade may rust if not properly maintained.
To prevent rusting and maintain the knife’s performance, we recommend:
- Wiping the blade with a light coat of oil before storage
- Regularly cleaning and drying the blade after use
- Using a soft cloth or fine-grade polish for rust removal
